Shit We Do These Days

I have taken a very long time to come up with a post. Can't blame me for being brain dead! Things have been so depressing that I just couldn't be bothered about almost everything. And thanks to Paul Wong , for he had inspired me to blog today!

How many of you have found your dream job ?? How many of you are working in a field you have majored in? How many of you are still in search of a job that you are passionate about? Let's not even go to those who have majored or mastered in something and end up teaching for a living. No offense to the Teachers here. =)

Heck, why am I asking you when I myself am attending a job that I didn't major in? It's a whole different field, that has nothing to do with my degree and its been freaking 4 years. Honestly, I hate my job. Don't let me start!! Believe it or not, it took me only 3 days to know that I'd hate my job. Seriously, no kidding. I'm not denying that there has been a point where I thought to myself that I'm content with this job just because it pays my bills. But somehow, I know I can't attend this job for the rest of my life as it's gonna eat me up bit by bit (Though it's already doing so). So, I'm still keeping my options open.

Looking for a suitable job or a job u have a passion in is difficult. You may have majored in a certain field but when it comes to a routine job of that field, it drains you out. You may find it so difficult to handle as it consumes most of your time and life. Or you may have a job of a different field than the one you majored and end up the same as well, just like me. =P

People have passion in various field. Unfortunately, certain field doesn't pay much. For example, I have a passion in reading. I really wish someone would pay me for reading, like in the book "To kill A Mocking Bird". (If you have no idea on what I'm talking about, let's just move on and not waste time) Unfortunately, no one wants to hire me. So, if I were to wait on to have this kinda job, I may have to end up eating sand for a living.

The Disney On Ice Show last week was awesome. To see them skating and dancing so gracefully and passionate about their show, I was left speechless. I remember Thylage (my cousin) going, "Now, that's a job!" I couldn't agree more with her. I guess, sometimes, it's never about the money. But then again, how long are you able to or willing to eat sand???

I totally believe in searching for a job you really have a passion in. Paul Wong does just that. He's been through so many jobs and still looking for something that he might be passionate about. People think he's unstable to make a living. I personally think it's awesome to actually put in the effort to constantly look for something you are passionate about. Paul Wong, keep looking. You will get there soon and when you do, you'll absolutely love it with no regrets. Go for what your heart desire as it is always the best thing to do. =)

To those who have ended up like me, it's not the end of the world, yet. =P
Keep looking as well. Channel your passion to be a hobby instead. At least you will still be doing something you love. Read, dance, sing, for all you want. For even if the satisfaction is too little, it actually makes you HAPPY.

Ps, Thanks Brainy for the awesome title! You're called Brainy for a reason! =)
